# 6 and 7 months

Each subject's 06 month and 07 month files were listened to and coded in their entirety, except for sections that were determined to be silent (using a [silence-finding algorithm](https://github.com/SeedlingsBabylab/audiowords)). 

Sections of the file are also silenced due to [Personal Information](/personal-information.md). These sections were still coded (i.e. there could be a segment marked personal information, but if the parent also said a codeable word during that segment, it would be included in the final word list for that file).

Total listened time (see [recordings.csv](https://github.com/BergelsonLab/seedlings-nouns/blob/main/recordings.csv)) for 06 and 07 month files is the total length of the recording, minus any time delineated as a [Silence](/group-1/audio-files/8-17-months/skips-and-silences.md#silences).
